Watched The Dark Knight. What? Don't judge me. Once that was finished I watched the tail end of Natures Great Events on BBC HD and then Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle. Very funny.
Woke up feeling alright, but as the day has gone on my chest has gotten tighter and I've developed a nasty dry cough. It's incredible.
Work was good. Quiet. Got some stuff done. Didn't die.
Came home to Melissa who'd been off work today. I felt guilty hogging all the sick to myself so I've given her a bit and she's got a headache, aches, pains and the sniffles. I cooked tea for us while she had a lovely relaxing bath in the shit hole we call a bathroom (not long now).
This evening I'm nipping to (the) ASDA for some essentials, then home for some TV or a movie, while Melissa is snuggled up in bed with the cats and a warm drink. And some drivel on the TV.
I feel like a glass of scotch this evening, medicinal, obviously, so I might treat myself. It's payday, after all.
Friday tomorrow. Oh yes. Long weekend. Even better.
