Watched Jackie Brown last night, was in bed just after 12. Slept OK.
Our day of cleaning/painting was ruined as Melissa was called into work just after 9am and didn't return home until just after 4pm. She was unimpressed.
I was left with instructions to clean, hoover and mop the conservatory. A duty which I performed with admirable prowess. As the house was mine I spent a large chunk of the day (when I wasn't cleaning) playing CODBO.
Judy, my mother-in-law kindly dropped off roast dinners for us both just after 3pm which saved me cooking. We reheated them and enjoyed them whilst watching Grey's Anatomy, midst a terrific rain and thunder storm. Indeed, as I write this, it's hailing. I hope it stops, I have to put the bin out tonight.
This evening will, I think, end with an early night, as, though we're both off work tomorrow, we will have to be up early to clean and tidy the house (further) for the valuation people.
That said, I may find time to squeeze in a film with Melissa, depending on how tired she is.
