Watched a film about Allen Ginsberg last night called Howl. It was good. My day remained caffeine free and I slept pretty well.
Drove into work, did stuff, then came home at 11am to give Melissa the car while I waited around for the Sky man. He arrived just before 11am and left just before 1pm. He diagnosed the problem as being "trees". They were partially blocking the signal and the LNB couldn't cope, so he moved the dish forward and up a bit and gave us a new dish and LNB for good measure. Melissa has, or will phone the council about the trees which I have noticed are completely blocking the sun from our garden all day long.
Anyway, Sky man gone, I prepped some more mortgage shite and spent too long on hold to the solicitors. Melissa came home on her lunch break, checked my workings, picked up our marriage certificate to photocopy, and she will be getting Tina to "witness" the document and then she'll send it off to them on her way home. Once that was out the way I played CODBO until my thumb was numb, fed the cats, had some tea and I fully intend to get back on CODBO once I've tidied my mess in the kitchen and let my pasta digest slightly.
Then, I don't know what I'll be doing, but whatever it is it will be interrupted at 11:20pm for the new series of Stewart Lee's Comedy Vehicle on BBC 2.
Another half day at work, followed by scan with Melissa (obviously) and my mother.
See you tomorrow evening!
