The wife and I watched 3:10 To Yuma (the remake with Christian Bale and Russell Crowe). It was good. She then went to bed and I played some CODBO with Howard.
Lay in until about 9am and the wife made me tea and crumpets for breakfast. We both then lounged about until about lunchtime at which point we did our weekly super-clean. I somehow ended up hoovering for the second time in two days. The cats are shedding, so I suppose it makes sense to keep on top of the hair situation.
I went to (the) ASDA (twice in two days) for some bits and pieces (mainly crisps) and then we watched some TV. Lea and Hannah came round at about 3:30 and Mel did Hannah's hair for her while me and Lea watched some of the FA Cup semi final. Wewent to (the) ASDA again (thrice in two days) so Lea could get cash out that he owed me, and I could get Melissa some butter for baking purposes. She wanted to make white chocolate cup cakes. This is an Americanism that I'm not fond of, 'cup cakes', but I can't really think of anything else to call them, so there we are.
Me and Lea watched South Park The Movie while the girls talked babies and hair, and then, when they were finished, we ordered Domino's and settled down for the first episode of Britains Got Talent. Sorry.
Lea and Hannah left after that, at about 10pm, and I came upstairs to write this. I'm going to have a beer now, and watch something cultural to try and restore the part of my brain that was damaged by ITV and David Hasslehoff. Admittedly, the beer might do further damage, but it's a risk I'm willing to take.
See you tomorrow.
