Friday. Had a pretty decent day in work. As usual I made a fair few cock ups early on, prompting me to check my underpant orientation. Everything was where it should be and by 11 o'clock everything was going swimmingly. Having said that I did implement some changes to our mainframe batch so we'll see what sort of state the bank is in on Monday morning.
Lunch over it was just a matter of watching the clock until 4pm when we could pay our first visit of the week to (the) ASDA. I decided to pick up a bottle of wine and I will surely drink most of it tonight while Melissa watches the American Idol semi final, or whatever it is.
I've done over the kitchen, hoovered the shit out of the house (turn of phrase, the house wasn't literally full of shit) and done my bit to save the planet by cancelling paper bills with the bank. Take that, global warming! I now await a delicious dinner and the agonising decision of what to do in order to drown out American Idol. Film? CODBO? Maybe both? Fridays in this house are, as you may have realised, fairly predictable.
