I watched a film from 1966 called Gambit, starring Michael Caine and Shirley Mclaine. It was good. I watched it mainly because the Coen brothers have written a remake of it which is currently in production, and I'm a bit sad like that.
Woke up with the belief it was Saturday. It was not. Despite that I quite enjoyed work today. Ate more Rowntree's Randoms and didn't break anything, I don't think.
At lunch time Melissa and I went shopping for some stuff, mainly hot dogs and hot dog buns and an onion, but also some cleaning implements. Lucky me, I get to Oven Pride the oven at the weekend. That's sure to be a riveting blog entry.
This evening we had hot dogs for tea, no surprise there, and Melissa made mortgage enquiries. The forms should be winging their way to us tomorrow and soon, Operation Bathroom can commence.
Mel is out this evening doing whatever it is she does and I'll be playing some CODBO and if the mood takes me I shall watch a film too. I believe Thursday is CSI night on Channel 5 so that's what Melissa will be doing, with the cats who also seem to enjoy CSI.
