We came 4th or 5th in the quiz. Not too bad out of 20 teams.
Woke up, had a shower and there was a power cut in the street. Went to work with a niggling fear that the freezer would be pissing water out by the time we got home, but it the power came back on at about half 9 so everything was fine. Work was par for the course.
Picked up my new DVI cable from the post office on the way home. Plugged it in when we got back and the screen refused to display anything. I thought the power cut had proper goosed it. But it turned out I was an idiot and the DVI cable wasn't seated properly. 3 years of IT service desk, gone to waste.
Went to the in-laws for tea. I'm sure they think I'm Hansel of Hansel and Gretel fame as whenever we go found they're always feeding me. I'm sure they're fattening me up for cooking and eating. Not complaining, mind you. We had duck. Om nom nom.
Came home after that, put the heating on. Summer's over. It was brief, but it was lovely.
I may watch a film shortly, although I'm not sure which one.
