Day 43

We arrived at the pub, The Red Cat in Crank, to find the car park beingconsumed by this :

Look out below!

For one night only (the night we decided to go there) the pub was host to a charity bungee jump. There were 15 volunteers all jumping for Macmillan Nurses and Help for Heroes. It wasn't particularly high, and there wasn't give in the bungee chord, which prompted Melissa to move the car for fear of coming out after tea to find a dead Wiganner embedded in the windscreen. Tea was pretty good and it was nice to catch up with Tracy and Dave as we hadn't seen them for ages.

Came home, watched Family Guy, went to bed.

Tuesday wasn't too bad and made some progress on baby related accessories. We've found a very good deal on a steriliser, but the high chair is slowly getting more expensive. Melissa is also becoming quite adept at Aqua-Natal.

I have a burgeoning addiction to Rowntree's Randoms. But I can control it.

Just before the end of the day Howard invited me to the pub for a few pints and some quizzing, so I'm off there later on after tea with my lovely wife.

See you tomorrow!
