Learning has been quite intensive and nights have been early ones due to there not being anything to watch on TV at all and the aforementioned shitty laptop. So bored was I in fact that I decided to take this photo :

Wildlife down that part of the world is many and varied. We saw a roe deer crossing the roe(d) but did NOT see any signs to warn us of "deer crossing". I feel I should sue someone. But my favourite wildlife spotting was definitely the red kite swooping and circling in the grounds of the hotel. I thought it was a rarity and felt blessed, until, on the way home, we saw about 5 all swooping and circling over the motorway.
Brief summary of the days :
Wednesday
Day1 of course, lovely sausage and chutney sandwich for lunch, for tea we went to the pub below for a pint or two and a pizza (£5.99 for pizza and a pint. Yes please.) Back to the hotel for a pint of Guinness.

Day2 of course, chorizo and mustard sandwich. Very nice. For tea we went to the local Wetherspoons and found it in the middle of a real ale festival and promoting "Curry Night" which was £4.99 for curry and pint. Yes please. We then went to a strange looking pub called "The Bootlegger" which was clad in flint and boasted an excellent selection of real ales. Back to the hotel for lying down and farting.

Day 3 of course, parma ham and sheep's cheese on a ciabatta. Fantastic. Earlier dart than expecting and then a long trek home, broken up by a stop for Starbucks and a shit load of Krispy Kremes.

Each day was taken up with more than just eating. There was a lot of learning involved and it was genuinely quite interesting. But I'm a geek, and I suspect you lovely people would have little interest in the benefits of declaring a seperate proc over using an instream declaration.
Back to the normal schedule tomorrow after a day of baby related shopping.
Oh, it's a girl by the way...
See you all tomorrow.
