I did not watch a film last night. Instead we (me and the wife) both watched Grey's Anatomy. Coz we like it. I'm not ashamed to admit that.
Forgot to mention yesterday that this :
arrived in the post. All sorts of win. I got it from here. They have a different, limited edition design every 3 days. Once it's gone, it's gone. They also sent me a small bag of Haribo Star Mix. Yesterday was a good day.
I woke this morning to the dulcet tones of our small cat Bella retching up a hairball just next to our bed. I muddled out of bed, cleaned that up, made tea and toast (obviously after washing my hands) showered and walked into work again. It. Was. Cold. Too cold even for woodpeckers, apparently.
Much like yesterday, today was also uneventful, although I did get my new laptop delivered by a chatty man called Rod who used to drink in my local, back home. The new machine is much faster than my old one. I also bought 8 spotlight bulbs to fit around the house. I fitted 6 of them, 2 of them are too small. But the kitchen and landing are now illuminated. I can now see what I'm cooking and safely navigate the stairs to deliver breakfast in bed to my pregnant wife. Aww.
Speaking of my pregnant wife she managed to spend an inordinate amount of money today on a nursery set. I'll agree it was a bargain in every respect, but it was still an inordinate amount of money. I had to agree to it though, as when they deliver it, they assemble it for you at no extra cost. The child would be 34 if I'd been left to assemble it all alone.
This evening plans involve cleaning the kitchen, wiping up cat sick and preparing my dinner. I will once again pick wifey up from work and we will go to ASDA for an argument and shopping.
