Day 29

Sneakers was good, as I knew it would be. I've seen it once or twice before.

Slept ok, but little cat decided to get stuck on the wardrobe again at 6am so that ruined the last 45 minutes of my kip. Should get a decent lie in Wednesday, Thursday and Friday as the course start time is 9am and I wont have to fight anyone for the bathroom.

Monday means back to work. I wanted to walk in in the fog. I love fog. But my back and legs are screwed after all the lifting over the weekend so I jumped in with Melissa. Nothing monumental happened but I was told to finish early tomorrow to come home and prepare for the trek down south in the evening so that was nice. It means I'll have time to pick up the video camera that was taken back to the post office when the postman couldn't deliver it this morning.

The new washer dryer (I think) I mentioned arrived this afternoon. It was fitted by my father-in-law and then, once he'd left, removed by me and refitted after I'd turned the water supply on.

Someone (Melissa) didn't read the instructions. I think she was too excited. Bless. Anyway, our first wash lasted about 3 and a half hours. During which time the machine went insane while it ran the somewhat over zealous spin-cycle. We've now read the instruction and think the next time it's run it will be a little better behaved. Whatever. I'll be away. She can sort it out.

No One Born Every Minute tonight, I want to catch up on Wonders of the Universe with Prof Brian Cox.

The journey tomorrow should take about 3 hours, and provided the laptop doesn't implode under burden of two different windows in Internet Explorer due to the woefully inadequate 128mb I'll post from the hotel room. If it DOES implode, I'll try and post from the hotel room anyway, but it'll be brief and mis-spelled as it will be from my phone.

Bye for now...
