Tuesday, a little like Monday, but closer to Wednesday.
Drank more caffeine today than I did yesterday but other than that, not a great deal went down at work, but speaking of "great deals" (do you see what I did there?) I picked up a bargain this evening. Got one of these for £44.99 from Amazon.co.uk instead of £169.
For those of you who didn't click, it's a Panasonic TA1 Full HD Pocket camcorder. I justified the expenditure to the missus by reasoning that a) it was a really good price, and b) it will be nice to have for when the baby is born. And stuff.
We had hot dogs for tea. Old school. I complimented mine with some chilli-out-of-a-tin and a bit of grated cheese. Chilli dogs ftw. I would have taken photos, but I had chilli all over my fingers. Sorry.
Watched A Single Man this evening, with Colin Firth. That is to say, he was in it. Not sat next to me on the couch. It was good. Not what I was expecting. Took a while to get used to some of techniques that were used. I thought my eyes were going funny at some points as the filter kept changing from a dull one to a much brighter, more saturated one.
I also bought a book this evening, to read next week when I'll be away on a training course with work for a few days. I sold my laptop some months ago so I won't be able to take any movies with me to watch, and since I abhor almost all television I'm going to resort to good old fashioned printed word. I'll obviously be taking with me some comic books, but a friend recommended me Kingpin: How One Hacker Took Over the Billion-Dollar Cybercrime Underground which is a very long title, I'll grant you that, but he thinks I'll really like it. And I'll have time to kill in the evenings, so I'll be forced to read it so it won't, in theory be a waste of money.
